How to Play High D on the Clarinet

Notes on the fingerings for high D
Fingering #1 is the standard fingering for high D. Fingering #2 is mainly used for trilling between high C and D. It can also be used in fast scalar passages, but check the intonation before using it in performance.

How to use the fingering charts
Your left hand is represented by pink circles with a number indicating which finger to place on a key or cover a tone hole. Your right hand is represented with blue circles in these fingering charts.
